Zenaji Eternity BESS: Built for Excellence
The Zenaji Eternity Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) has been developed to meet the growing demand for commercial to grid-scale energy storage. With a basic building block of 36.3 kWh – 44.9 kWh, the system is scalable for commercial users up to the megawatts of power needed by utility power companies. 

The ultra-long life of the Eternity makes it the lowest cost per kilowatt hour of energy stored and retrieved over its lifetime, of any Lithium Ion solution currently available. Further, the Eternity takes full advantage of the Titanate chemistry's incredible charge and discharge characteristics, enhanced safety features, and ability to operate in hot and cold climates.

The Eternity battery is a sustainable energy source with an energy capacity of 36.3 kWh for the 21-module unit, up to 44.9 kWh for the 26-module unit, that can be scaled to any system size, even grid-scale MW-sized systems. With up to 10 duty cycles per day, you can rely on this battery for all your excess energy consumption needs.

The Zenaji Eternity BESS has a high-temperature tolerance and lasts for potentially 60+ years. Each Eternity unit of up to 44.9 kWh can be readily scaled to any system size (many MW systems designs can be obtained). The high operating temperature range of -40° to 60°C, can provide extremely high surge current capability 4-5 times that of lithium-ion competitors. 


Designed for easy-to-install the Zenaji BESS enables a smooth transition. The Zenaji BESS can also be configured in both series and parallel for any size or voltage requirement. The Zenaji team works extensively to develop truly unique energy storage systems for domestic and commercial usage. The Zenaji battery range is inherently safe, with no thermal runaway or fires, and you can use all 100% depth of discharge (DoD).

Higher Lithium Intercalation Potential:

Traditional graphite anodes have a lithium intercalation potential of 0.1V, very close to the potential of metallic lithium (0V). This increases the risk of lithium dendrite formation. LTO anodes, on the other hand, have a significantly higher lithium intercalation potential of 1.55V, ensuring a safe margin that prevents lithium precipitation and dendrite formation.


Material Stability:
The stability of the lithium titanate material ensures that during the charging process, lithium ions remain in a safe state without being reduced to metallic lithium. This fundamental property makes our Zenaji LTO batteries inherently safer than their graphite-based counterparts.

What Are Lithium Dendrites?

Lithium dendrites are needle-like structures of metallic lithium that can form during the charging process of lithium-ion batteries. They occur when lithium ions are reduced and deposit on the anode. Over time, these dendrites can puncture the separator within the battery, leading to short circuits and safety hazards.
